Hardened steel upgrade parts for my Marushin M1 Garand, parts 45 (bolt), 44 (charging handle) & 42 (the gas chamber that slides on the barrel).

Much better quality than the original parts, and will make my Garand one step closer to skirmishable!

wow
great!
how to have done?
I sent many emails (KIC)
No answer,
I look for M1 carbine magazine
and
steel parts (for M1 Garand).

The only ones with black leather I have seen are post war ones.

Plenty of black leather wartime examples to chose from in early and later styles. Not rare or unusual if my reading is correct. Have a look here for a couple of examples, one dated. http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Heer/09Footwear.html
One has a nice mix of black and natural leather fittings.

I have some more Soviet bits on the way, mostly buttons as spares and insignia to sort my shinel and M35.
Wont be here for Border Clash but as I seem to be doing a most of my WW2 Airsoft as Soviet I thought I'd tidy up the details.

An unissued pair of 1945 dated AMMO BOOTS!

They also came with a pair of issued/used blackened brown-leather Home Guard/'39patt anklets!

Oh, also got a 1920 pattern Hungarian leather belt:

This type (but without the 'Sam Brown-esque' looped-on shoulder cross strap) from the Oxfam charity shop in Berkhamstead for £2.99!:

I don't know why I keep managing to pick up vintage military leather belts in charity shops...
...I guess it's the place to look!

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."

Why? I always blame the wife telling her 'she turned it on too fast'. That and surges in the leccy supply. Or the little bit of self-destruct code in the controller chips.
